Majoring in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Skyler's revamping space exploration with machine learning to pinpoint electron recoil events in the COSI telescope. He’s also helping to orchestrate an undergrad competition with LEAPFROG, a simulated lunar lander challenge. Skyler is truly soaring to new heights. As a first-year student majoring in mechanical engineering, Marvin offers a special combination of abilities to his work with the Experimental Astrophysics Group (EAG). He works on the creation and evaluation of micro-channel plates, which are vital to the study of space. Marvin is an inspiration to all of us at SSL because of his commitment and love for his work.
